In China since 2010, I am a journalist, editor and copy-editor writing about culture, fashion, design and other social topics.

I live and work between Beijing and Shanghai, where I have covered the role of national Lifestyle Editor for HK Focus Media, which publishes three of China’s leading English-language magazines: That’s Beijing, That’s Shanghai and That’s PRD. From February 2015 to May 2016, I was Editor-in-Chief of That's Shanghai.

Besides That’s, my work has been published in Interior Design magazine, The International New York Times, Jing Daily, Inessence magazine, Time Out Beijing, LS:N Global, CNN Style, NJAL and Vogue Italia, among others.  Prior to my full-time foray into writing, I headed the international press office for Beijing Design Week for the event's first two editions (2011 and 2012).

I have interviewed figures such as Vera Wang and Hung Huang, Guo Pei and Chen Man, and reported on China’s booming beauty industry, the state of modern Chinese feminism and working as a foreign model in the PRC.

When I’m not in China, I travel across South-East Asia, camera in hand.
